Training: After-School

PPP for After-School

PPP for After-School is designed to:

  • help out of school time staff members better understand the families of the children and youth they serve
  • provide ideas for ways to include families in the after-school program
  • establish the after-school program as a link between school teachers and families
  • affirm the work of out of school time programs in supporting families as they nurture and care for their children

Practical Parenting Partnerships created this training with the support of the AT & T Family Care Development Fund.

Participants receive a training notebook, a CD of enrichment activities designed for youth 5-13 and labeled with educational standards and grade level expectations. Sites receive additional resources including the PPP Continuum of Development poster and the PPP newsletter mailed to the site coordinator.

Cost:     $75.00 per person includes a training manual and CD of handouts and activities to train your staff or

                $35 per person with training notebook only
