Shelly is an active educator and mother of two daughters. In addition to her development of materials and facilitating workshops, she currently tutors elementary and high school students and volunteers in her daughters’ school. She has past experience as the Assistant Director of Title I at the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and has done educational consulting in the fields of: Title I, parent and community involvement, collaboration of services, developmentally appropriate instructional practices and assessment methods, and more. Shelly is a former classroom teacher and PPP trainer and is experienced in providing quality professional development to educators.
Shelly has primary responsibility for organizing and leading
technical assistance, providing regional and local professional
development opportunities, and developing/writing new materials.
