Meet My Pet Night

Schools invite families to bring their pet in a cage or carrier along with a poster describing its habitat, diet, food, and physical characteristics. The facilitator leads discussion about the science involved in caring for pets. Children’s books about caring for pets will be displayed and families will be guided and challenged to learn a new thing about their pet. This could be offered outside in the spring or fall.
