Strengthening Home/School Partnerships: A United Effort

Many state and federal programs include mandates for various types of parent involvement.  With these mandates, comes accountability.  No Child Left Behind (NCLB) provides a global guide that most other programs fall within.  We will review the requirements and rights for parent involvement written in NCLB that can be used as a framework for parent involvement in schools.  In this workshop, we will discuss the requirements that schools face for parent involvement and how collaboration can reduce time and work load and lead to a more unified end.
