Family involvement is a natural and proven means in helping to prevent risky behaviors. How can schools and families work together in identifying risk factors that our youth are challenged by and put into place protective factors at home and school? We will discuss ways schools can support parents in their role as primary prevention agents in their child’s life. At this workshop, we will look at when risky behaviors tend to begin and share school based strategies that can be partnered with community and home for greater success.
