Planning Time and Tools for Success

This workshop examines two specific tools for schools to use in planning and implementing parent involvement through the year. First, we will use the PPP Continuum of Parent Involvement to examine where your school is now in its parent involvement effort, and how each of the six dimensions might be strengthened. Discussion will include characteristics of effective teams and how to involve a team in the planning process. Also, several evaluation tools will be shared. The second topic will be parent friendly ideas for helping families understand the MAP.
